TRADEDART was built on a simple idea - not every industrial problem has its answer inside the company. Manufacturing companies regularly encounter questions that require looking beyond their existing suppliers, industry or market. In those situations TRADEDART acts as an external research and problem-solving function.
Why TRADEDART exists
Many manufacturing problems are not technically impossible. They are difficult because the right information, company, technology, partner or application has not yet been identified.
In a plant, such questions usually end up at the bottom of the list: they are not urgent and no one clearly owns them. TRADEDART was created as a place to hand these questions to people for whom research is the main job, not an extra task.

Depending on the challenge, this can include manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies, potential buyers, distributors and other industry players. It means the research is not limited to publicly available information - part of the answers come from direct conversations.

Our approach
First understand the problem. Then look for where the answer could be.
We do not start by assuming what the answer is. First we understand the problem: the context, the constraints and what has already been tried.
Only then do we investigate where the answer could exist - in the same or another industry, in another market, or at a company that has already solved the same question. If there is no meaningful answer, we say so and document what was checked.
Our goal
TRADEDART's goal is to become a company's first external point of contact the moment an industrial question arises that has no obvious answer.
